I have my roots in the design world but took a 7+ year break to be a full-time wedding and lifestyle photographer. While I do still dabble in the photographic arts (need some dope brand images or bespoke stock photography? Hit me up!), I have made design the light of my life for the past 3 years.

And honestly? It’s the fucking best.

I get to help incredible people create brands and businesses they can proudly show off, so that’s pretty great.

Why the name “Slab Serif Studio”?

According to font psychology (that’s a real thing, btw), the personality of slab serif fonts is simple, solid, friendly, versatile, confident and balanced.

They are attention-grabbing (but not in a cocky way), they are bold yet versatile and they are strong yet playful. Slab serif fonts were designed to stand out.

And that, my friend, is the goal of Slab Serif Studio. I want to stand out, and my ultimate goal is to help other brands and businesses (ideally run by strong women) stand out with beautiful branding and dope websites. It also helps that I’m pretty obsessed with fonts.
