In your free consultation, we’ll figure out exactly what you need and what will serve your business best. Afterwards, I’ll send you a proposal outlining deliverables, investment, and timeline.
Once you accept the proposal, you’ll get access to your client portal where your contract and invoice will be ready and waiting. Finish those up and baby, we’re in business.
Once we’re official, the real work begins. Your client portal will include any questionnaires or documents that you need to complete. Once you’ve finished them, we will schedule a Zoom call to go through everything together and bounce a few ideas around.
After thorough research on my side, I will provide you with a brand proposal outlining what I envision for your brand.
At Slab Serif Studio, there’s no faffing about with weak options or trying to decide between two nearly identical mood boards. I practice the One-Concept Method, so I condense all my best ideas into a single mood board and colour palette—guaranteed to be simple, straightforward, and stunning, with a video overview explaining my thought process.
Doing it this way ensures that our vibes are on the same page right from the start and that we’ll only need minor tweaks when we get to the actual design.
After any revisions and approval, I start on the actual design of your branding. Your branding comes with a full brand presentation that walks you through every single element. You’ll get another chance for revisions here, but once we’re both happy, we move into the next phase!
If you selected any add-on designs, this is when that particular magic happens. You’ll get all of your final files neatly structured in a Google Drive, ready for you to download, along with your Brand Guidelines document to use as a reference for your brand going forward.
We will schedule a final Zoom meeting where I walk you through all your new goodies, showing you how to use everything and how to make any changes or updates. And because we’re friends now, I’ll even send over tutorial videos if you need help on something particular or want to refer back to them.
